2. STOCKHOLM PALACE - SWEDEN, STOCKHOLM

Stockholm Palace or the Royal Palace is the official residence and major royal palace of the Swedish monarch. the palace was completed by Carl Hårleman who also designed a large part of its Rococo interior. The palace was not ready to use until 1754, when King Adolf Frederick and Queen Louisa Ulrika moved in.

6. RIDDARHOLM CHURCH - SWEDEN, STOCKHOLM

The Riddarholm Church is the burial church of the Swedish monarchs. It is located on the island of Riddarholmen, close to the Royal Palace. The congregation was dissolved in 1807 and today the church is used only for burial and commemorative purposes.

7. MUSEUM OF MEDIEVAL STOCKHOLM - SWEDEN, STOCKHOLM

The Museum of Medieval Stockholm, centrally located north of the Royal Palace, was constructed around old monuments excavated in an extensive archaeological dig in the late 1970s. Part of Stockholm's city wall, dating from the early 16th century, was also found.

8. WALDEMARSUDDE - SWEDEN, STOCKHOLM

Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde, is a museum located on Djurgården in central Stockholm. It was the former home of the Swedish Prince Eugen, who discovered the place in 1892, when he rented a house there for a few days. Seven years later he bought the premises and had a new house designed by the architect Ferdinand Boberg.
