The igloos are created from Lappish wood, a substance that breathes, endures and is natural. Carbon dioxide is absorbed by it and therefore the carbon footprint of buildings is significantly reduced. They make sure they are ecological with energy. The igloos are heated using geothermal power. The solar panels around the igloo roof catch solar power and every igloo is fitted with an air heat pump providing heat in the winter and coolness in the summer, which also reduces consumption to stay as green as possible.
The Eco-Friendly igloos give you a special experience with the embrace from the Northern Lights and Nordic nature. The wilderness flows through the glass ceilings; the dancing of the Northern Lights above the Arctic Circle, the nightless midsummer night along with the spectacular foliage of the Fall. These can be admired by the comfort of the electric adjustable bed, wrapped in bed linens (Image Copyright © Pyhä Igloos)
